As a Publicist for Mission Point Press, I created media campaigns from idea to implementation for self-published authors. I managed 3 campaigns for new releases. My campaigns focused on local media coverage, reading events, and digital marketing.
Ceramics
In my free time, I pursue ceramics both hand-built and thrown. I sell my artworks and accept commissions for functional ware. I am particularly interested in finishes and unexpected glaze combinations.
Pewabic Pottery Apprenticeship Program
I worked with the historic ceramics studio to restart their apprenticeship program after a 40-year hiatus. Our apprenticeship program hired apprentices from Detroit public high schools interested in pursuing careers in the arts. I managed logistics for the program including budget management, Lunch and Learns, email newsletters, and assistance for the apprentices.
